Happy 1st Birthday to our Chester shop!!! 🥳🤩
Last Saturday it was so nice to gather with our team and customers for a free slice of cake to celebrate our Chester store turning 1 years old.

As a family business, we're incredibly aware that most small businesses don't survive for long in this economic climate so we just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all of our team, suppliers and customers for making this a reality. Here's to many more 🥂🍰

This gorgeous couple have been customers of mine for quite a while, so making their wedding cake felt extra special.

And Willow, who has visited the shop many times, had a very important role this time… carrying the wedding rings! Looking especially beautiful for the occasion 🥹

Abba Cakes Chester is ONE! A whole year. How?! 🩷

What a journey. Completely different from Hoylake, with so much to learn, so much to celebrate and a lot of hard work behind it all.

Every time you choose us, you help us keep building this dream. You show us that the quality, the care and the values we put into Abba Cakes matter. And believe me, we don’t take that lightly.

The weddings, the birthdays, the conversations in the shop. Cake on a good day, cake on a bad day. Thank you for making us part of your lives.

Being a founder and a mum is A LOT. There have been days when I’ve thought, “I can’t do this.” My faith and the people around me have kept me going, and there are more of them than you might think.

A huge thank you to my team, and especially to Lucy. If you visit Chester, you know that beautiful face! She welcomes people with kindness and a smile, and she is excellent at her job. Her standards, her care, her work—I’m so proud to have her at Abba Cakes.

Now, who better than your cake lady to make a big birthday cake?!

🎂 CHESTER, WE’RE TURNING ONE.

One whole year of cake, queues, busy Saturdays, familiar faces and far too many brownies to count.

And we know that keeping a shop going these days is no small thing.

So this one is really about saying thank you to every single person who’s walked through our doors, ordered from us, recommended us, shared our posts or come back for “just one more slice”. 🤎

This Saturday 10th October, we’re celebrating properly.

From 1pm, come into our Chester shop and have a slice of birthday cake on us.

Free cake. Because birthdays should have cake, and because we wouldn’t be celebrating this one without you.
