Yorkshire Brack and Treacle Parkin… is there anything more October than that? 😍

Made by Botham's of Whitby these are proper Yorkshire treats, packed with comforting seasonal flavour. The Brack is rich, fruity and satisfyingly moist, while the treacle parkin is soft, sticky and warmly spiced, with a deep, golden sweetness that tastes like autumn in every bite.

… And of course, a bit of Wensleydale to go with them if you’re that way inclined!

Don’t get me wrong …we love a fancy crisp as much as the next person, but sometimes… you just can’t beat a good old packet of ready salted or cheese & onion. 🙌

No truffle, no blue cheese, no fancy pants flavours. Just a proper British crisp. 😂

We’ve restocked our Listers crisps at the deli, made locally and a great staple to have in the cupboard (although we can’t promise they’ll make it home before you open them!).

Sometimes you just want a crisp that tastes like a crisp. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that!

Our cheese counter is BACK! 🧀🙌🏼

It’s been a bit of a saga …
After a summer of ridiculously high temperatures and our fridge deciding it absolutely was NOT built for that kind of nonsense (bit like a lot of us really!) it’s all fixed and we’re ready to get the cheese back where it belongs!

We’ve missed it!

We’ve got some of our favourites back in… Delice de Bourgogne, Yorkshire Wensleydale, Blacksticks Blue along others. We’ve got all the good things to go with them too — chutneys, crackers, pickles, olives, charcuterie and plenty of lovely sourdough.

BUT… we want to know what you want to see on the counter?

🍯🔥 I first came across hot honey about 10 years ago on holiday in NYC. Back then, I came home raving about it and absolutely nobody seemed to have heard of the stuff!

Fast forward to now and it’s popping up everywhere… but guess what? We’ve got a local gem right here on our doorstep! 🦡❤️

Sweet, sticky honey with a chilli kick that means business. Perfect drizzled over pizza, flatbreads, cheese, halloumi… or pretty much anything that deserves a little extra va-va-voom! 🌶️

And we love that we can stock something this good from a local producer.

Salt & vinegar powder. 🤯

All the punchy salt & vinegar flavour you love, without drowning your chips in vinegar and ending up with a soggy mess.
