Just to clear up a rumour that’s been going around…

Quite a few people have asked us today if Sam and I are leaving The Welly. We honestly don’t know where it’s come from, but we can assure everyone it’s simply not true.

We love being at The Welly, and we have no plans to go anywhere. Thank you to everyone who’s checked in with us, but please don’t believe the rumours.

We’re looking forward to what’s ahead and continuing to make The Welly the best it can be.

Just wanted to wish a massive Happy Belated Birthday to our amazing landlord, Shane, for yesterday, and a huge Happy Anniversary to both our wonderful landlord and landlady! 🎉🍻

Thank you both for everything you do for The Wellington. The blood, sweat, and tears you put into making this pub what it is never go unnoticed. Your hard work, dedication, and passion are appreciated more than you’ll ever know.

Not only have you transformed the pub, but you’ve also made it such a warm, friendly, and welcoming place where everyone feels at home. You really are the best thing that’s happened to The Wellington.

And not only are you both incredible landlord and landlady, but you’re also the most amazing Mum & Dad and the best Nannie & Grandad to Shanie, Jodie, Maisy, Jessie, Freddie and Vinnie. Your love, kindness and support shine through in everything you do, and we appreciate you both more than you’ll ever know.
