It is with great delight that I can announce that we are open again. Under the current guidelines we are only allowed to do Takeaways and can only operate with a reduced number of staff due to social distancing.

This means we may be a bit slower than you are used to, also we may have a reduced menu to try and speed things up.

We have brought several measures in to protect you, our lovely customers, and our great staff. We will be checking all staffs temperatures when they arrive for work, we will be wearing face coverings and gloves and regularly sanitising our hands. Sanitizer will be available for customer use also.

We have arranged a socially distanced queuing system which we hope is clear and easy to use.

We hope you are all safe and well and look forward to seeing you soon.

CAFE CLOSURE



It is with much regret that we need to announce that, because of the corona virus outbreak,The Lawns Cafe will be closed as from Monday 23rd of March, until further notice.

This last week we have stayed open, perhaps unwisely, feeling that many of our customers wanted us to. Now, however, with the stronge directives from above and particularly for the protection and welfare of our fantastic staff, we cannot continue to stay open.

We would like to thank all of our customers, regular or not, for their continued support and understanding.

We wish you all good health and look forward to the time when we can welcome you back again at The Lawns Cafe.

Morning everyone, I hope you are all keeping well.We are open for the time being just doing take away drinks and food. We have today put measures in place to enforce social distancing . Whilst we are endeavouring to stay open in these uncertain times we would please ask that our customers respect the advice being given regarding social contact and help us to help you stay safe. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums out there. Take care everyone.

Morning everyone. Just an update on our situation. We are open with much greater spacing between our tables, we are also asking customers to keep space between each other when queuing and wherever possible to use contactless payment. We are reviewing the situation on a daily basis and will post regular updates on here. That’s all for now. Take care all. Oli and Richard
