Empty Chairs is back at The Hornbrook this Thursday, October 1st and we’re changing the time slightly, now from 6pm. ❤️

Our Empty Chairs events are held fortnightly, future dates are October 15th and October 29th.

Empty Chairs is a simple idea: a small table in a pub is booked and we leave a few chairs empty - inviting anyone who wants company to join us. There's no pressure, no agenda, and no expectation to stay longer than you want. Loneliness affects people of all ages. Empty Chairs exists to create low-pressure spaces where real human connection can happen - even if it's just sitting together for a drink.

Our next Quiz Night is on Monday, September 28th from 7pm, so get your team together and come and put your knowledge to the test! 🧠

This month, we’re supporting Olive Tree Cancer Support Group, so it’s a great chance to enjoy a night out while helping to support a brilliant local cause.

£2 per person, maximum 6 per team. First place wins a £30 Hornbrook voucher.

Our quiz nights take place on the last Monday of every month, future dates for the diary are Oct 26th, Nov 30th.

What a night! Our monthly quiz night was another absolute belter and we were so happy to be supporting Guide Dogs UK and loved having the team with us for the evening. A special well done to our winning team and runners-up, pictured here with the Guide Dogs team. 🐾🧠
