We’re doing our best to keep everyone safe and comfortable during this weather, so our opening hours may vary slightly over the next week while we look after our team (and ourselves!).

We’ll always do our best to keep you updated, so thank you for bearing with us while the temperatures are high.

A huge thank you to everyone who came down to see us during Horsham Friday Lates. The town was absolutely buzzing, and it was so lovely to see so many familiar and new faces.

We’re incredibly lucky to have events like Friday Lates that bring our community together and shine a spotlight on all the amazing independent businesses in Horsham. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shopped, chatted, and supported us!

Seeing the news about Coughlan’s Bakery closing all of its locations made us stop and think.

Not just about one bakery, but about what it represents.

Behind every local business is a story.

A story of someone who believed enough in a dream to build something from the ground up. A story of early mornings, late nights, endless determination, and years of showing up—even on the days when it wasn’t easy.

Small businesses are built with heart.

They’re built by people who remember your name, celebrate your milestones, support local schools and sports teams, donate to community fundraisers, and create the places where memories are made.

They become part of the fabric of our communities. They create jobs for our neighbours, provide opportunities for young people entering the workforce, support other local businesses, and help keep our local economy strong. When a small business succeeds, the positive impact reaches far beyond its front door.

In today’s economic climate, life feels heavier for everyone. We all have to make choices, and every family is doing the best they can. This isn’t about guilt.

It’s about remembering that every time we choose to support a local business, we’re investing in our community. We’re helping keep people employed, encouraging entrepreneurship, strengthening our local economy, and supporting the passion, dedication, and countless hours that someone has poured into creating something meaningful.

Too often, we don’t realize what a place means to us until it’s gone.

We say, “I used to love going there.”

“I can’t believe they’re closing.”

“I wish I’d stopped in one more time.”

Maybe we don’t have to wait until it’s too late.

If there’s a local café you love, a bakery you always talk about, a florist, a bookstore, a boutique, or a family restaurant, visit them. Share their business. Tell your friends. Leave a review. Choose them when you can.

Because every pound spent locally is an investment in the kind of community we want to live in.

Thriving communities don’t happen by accident.

They happen when we show up for the people who have spent years showing up for us. ❤️
