This weekend marks 9, yes NINE, years of Horsforth Brewery. 9 years of brewing, fighting, scraping, surviving, partying and finally thriving.
What started as a side-project in the garage with next to no investment has slowly but surely grown into a keystone of the Horsforth community with our taproom and now with a second site in Ilkley.
The initial ambition was to bring great beer to Horsforth, then The Hop Shack Leeds opened before we did so strictly speaking they were the first to bring good beer in š, but then we built on that. COVID set us back a lot of years, the odd bad decision too, but weāve rode those out and things are looking better than ever, in no small part due to the fantastic teams we have in the brewhouse, taproom and Fuggle & Golding Tap House.
To celebrate the occasion weāve re-brewed Horsforth Pale, the beer that built the brewery and for some reason I thought Iād change the name š Anyway, itāll be coming back properly soon with a new look but still unapologetically bitter and hoppy, like it always was š
