🦢 OUR MENU IS EVOLVING…

We’re continuing our menu makeover at The Swan, Horndon — refreshing old favourites, introducing new dishes and putting even more emphasis on food made here in our own kitchen.

And this one has taken off quicker than we expected… ❤️

HOMEMADE STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING

Only launched this week and it’s already become one of our most popular desserts.

A warm date sponge drenched in rich toffee sauce, served with clotted cream ice cream.

Rich, warm, sticky and properly indulgent — made in our kitchen and served straight to your table.

If you haven’t tried it yet, you might want to save some room. 😋

🦢 OUR MENU IS EVOLVING…

We’ve started a major overhaul of our menu at The Swan, Horndon — keeping the dishes people already enjoy, but giving some of them a fresh, modern twist with new ingredients, new flavours and improved presentation, alongside some completely new dishes.

And here’s the first one…

Slow-Cooked Pork Belly Bites

An existing Swan dish that we’ve tweaked and taken up a notch.

Tender slow-cooked pork belly, now finished in a sticky five-spice, orange & cardamom BBQ glaze, topped with fresh spring onion and pickled chilli.

Sweet, sticky, savoury and packed with flavour — still recognisably good pub food, just with a little more going on. 😋

This is just the beginning. Over the coming weeks we’ll be sharing more of the dishes we’ve refreshed, reworked and newly introduced as our updated menu comes together.

Chef David dared me to post this… clearly he doesn’t know me very well. 😂👨‍🍳

So here he is, immortalised in cartoon form, proudly recommending his B**r Battered Fish & Homemade Triple-Cooked Chips. 🐟🍟

Crispy beer-battered fish, homemade triple-cooked chips, homemade tartare sauce, minted peas and fresh lemon.

And unlike the picture of David… the fish really does look this good. 😂
