Taste of Game | Thursday 8th October | £70pp

Game season is in full swing, and for our next Taste Of dinner we’re turning closer to home: Head Chef Rob has built a menu around Britain’s wild larder.

Six courses trace the best of British game - pheasant, wild boar, rabbit, pigeon and venison - each paired with the rich, earthy flavours of autumn. Tickets via our website.

After the success of our live acoustic music in the garden throughout the summer, we’ve decided to bring the music inside for the autumn.

Every Wednesday from 6.30pm–8.30pm we’ll welcome a different talented local artist to soundtrack the evening. Good food, good drinks and live music in the cosy surroundings of The Mutton.

We were so delighted to have been invited to join Jojo for such a special occasion. Having had the pleasure of working with Jojo and seeing her incredible creativity come to life at The Mutton, it was lovely to be there to celebrate this wonderful achievement with her.

Join us on 5th October for a special evening with award-winning author Rachel de Thample Rachel de Thample celebrating the launch of her new book, The Fermentation Year, as part of Hartley Wintney Literary Festival.

From kimchi and kombucha to sourdough and sauerkraut, Rachel will share the secrets of fermentation with a live recipe demo and Q&A, alongside a glass of Prosecco on arrival and a take-home taste inspired by the book.
