*important notice regarding bridge kitchen

Good evening to everyone, I just want to come on and share with you what is currently happening with the shop.

As you know we have now been closed since the 21st of August.

After many emails, phone calls we are sadly still no further forward.

As we have been closed there has no way of myself generating any income and without income no buisness can survive.

I had put everything i had into the shop.

This has caused me so much stress and sleepless nights- I came to the decision a couple of weeks ago, that unfortunately because of this issue and no way of sorting it, I will be giving the shop up and it will not reopen with myself in there.

I would like to place on record my gratitude to all our followers and all our customers who have supported us through our journey and continued to support us through the last few weeks.

A massive thankyou to everyone who contributed on the go fund me.

I wish I could of done things different, lessons have been learned from this.

I had a dream of having my own buisness and hopefully one day that could possibly happen again.

I will continue to fight what has happened to us in the background in the hope it can stop this company who have destroyed our buisness doing it to anyone else.

I do have a few bits of equipment and other items avaliable for sale if anyone is intrested just drop me a message and we can arrange something.

Toaster- its not a normal household one
Hot box
Under counter freezer
Meat slicer
Panini press
Coffee cups and lids
Milkshake cups and lids
Sugar sachets
Vinegar sachets
Massive catering tin of spam
Catering tins of baked beans
A case of Plumb tomatoes

One again thankyou for the support shown

Important notice!!

Evening everyone, I sincerely appologise for having to close today. We was having issues with our electric.

I want to take this opportunity to be completely open and honest with everyone that has supported us on our journey so far as I think that is only right and fair.

Before opening back in January i was cold called early in the morning and pressured into a gas contract, little did I know at the time they had signed me up for gas and electric.

after receiving an email from the electric provider I was with prior that they had been informed I had gone with a different company this is when I realised I had been signed to both gas and electric, it also turned out they was both charge ridiculous prices.

I have been contacting various people to fight this contract and try get rid of it. To no avail.

I also have had phone calls with the provider stating they was no electric contract and I had asked for the call logs which they have not provided me with, I was wanting these calls so I could fight my corner.

Today unfortunately our electric supply was cut as I was asked to pay 1800 pounds, I dont have that sort of money sat around we are a small buisness, so I couldn't prevent the electric being cut in the small time this morning they gave me to find said money, with it being our busiest morning of the week with it being a friday. So I had no option but to close.

I have been in contact with the company for most of the day, trying to sort the issue out and they have now told me I owe 3900 to get the electric back on and it could take up to 10 working days.

That means once that is paid It works out that I have been paying close to 1000 pounds a month for our electric in the shop. We dont have a lot on at all.

I have already paid this company over 2000 pounds since opening.

This is crippling for us and just as we was finally starting to get somewhere, any one who knows us or has been in to see us see how hard we work and how much we love serving you all.

I will sort this and we will be back open, I dont know when but we will be back as soon as possible.

Bigger and better and ready to serve you lot

When we do reopen the prices may slightly go up and I do appologise, I just hope you continue supporting us, a lot of time, money and effort has gone in to getting us to where we are today, and we certainly wont give up without a fight.

But we need you more than ever.

People may think this is a pity post and if people think that then so be it, but I have have been brought up to be honest and transparent.

Thankyou for your understanding
