🎉 We’re delighted to share that Upottery Primary school PTFA will be one of the village organisations receiving a donation from this year’s festival! 🎪💛

You can help support them even further by purchasing raffle tickets 🎟️ with all proceeds going towards their fantastic goal of creating a brand new play area for the school children 🛝🌳.

Every ticket purchased brings them one step closer to making this exciting project a reality for the children in our community 👧🧒✨.

It was on the 12th of June in the summer of 1976 that we got to No.1 in the charts aboard The Combine Harvester! And who would have thought that 50 years on we would still be going, and still making people dance, sing and laugh!😁

We just had the pleasure of travelling down to Kentisbeare, to the farm where we recorded the original video used to promote Combine Harvester. We spent the afternoon with the wonderful Andy Bennett, filming a special piece for BBC Points West.😉
It gave us a chance to reflect, and today is the perfect day to say 'Thank You' to everybody who helped to make it all happen. We are truly grateful, as topping the charts is an achievement to be proud of, and we couldn't have done it without your support, Ooh Arr-Ooh Arr!😀🍏🍻

This week we had the pleasure of hosting the Upottery Bell Ringers for a special meal together as they celebrated long-standing member Bernard Bartlett who is retiring after an incredible 72 years of bell ringing for Upottery Church 🔔

A truly amazing achievement and a fun fact: Bernard has rung the bells on more than 3,500 occasions over the years!

Congratulations Bernard, and thank you for your dedication and service to the community. 👏
