Aquatic sports Monday 20th (greasy pole, swimming, tug of war, duck race, gilly catching, sandcastle comp etc) and Rural sports Saturday 25th (races, egg and spoon, sack race, tilt the bucket etc) - come and join the fun - programmes on sale at Elsie’s Elsie’s , Willie Weston’s fish shop Weston’s of Blakeney fish shop and mobile fish van Blakeney garage Blakeney Garage and the anchor in morston theanchorinn.morston 🥳🏆☀️

Blakeney Regatta trophies!!! All polished up and ready for the 2026 winners!! Love this job - it’s so good to see the names over the years - different generations of the same families winning our beautiful bits of silver! The main event (Monday 20th - 9am ish start) is always the Greasy Pole and we proudly show off WH Temple (uncle billy) first winning it in 1967. He then went on to win it four more times over the next few years, finally in 1979. 🏆⚓️❤️. If anyone still has any trophies from last year please drop them at the pub before Monday for aquatics and before Saturday 25th for rural. Thanks very much 🏆⚓️❤️

⚓️🎶🥳we have been open for a year!!!!❤️. Huge thanks to everyone who has helped get us this far - the amazing team that welcome and look after all those that call - our fantastic chefs who produce top notch food - our variety of suppliers who have faith in our sales - and of course our many visitors, regular and new, who keep us loving what we do. Thank you for the chats, the stories, the laughs, the songs, the dancing, the games, the love ❤️⚓️❤️. We are overwhelmed with the gratitude from so many for opening the doors - and we plan to keep going, thriving on the community spirit! My biggest thanks go to Sharon, our amazing manager who leads the fabulous anchor team - she rocks!!!! ⚓️Come and help celebrate! Fabulous afternoon spent with Winston - our very dear friend who used to sing the Singing Postman Allen Smethurst’s songs round the pubs and clubs. He hasn’t performed for 15years and today he treated us to a couple of hours of pure joy - a blast from the past, when he used to call in with his guitar and get everyone singing along. Nothing beats it - and now Winston knows he can remember a fair few we are hoping he’ll come back soon!!

BIG day today!!!! Come to Morston and enjoy the sunshine - stay cool at the pub with great food and drink, take a boat trip to see the seals, Temple Seal Trips can take you at 3.45pm - back to the pub for some live music from James Brooks - then stay to watch the football!!!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🍺🍷⚓️🎶☀️

Our amazing anchor team have coped so far in the heat, and have done an awesome job - so with temperatures predicted to be higher we have changed our menu for the day - offering cold snacks and meals. Come and enjoy some great food and drink and cool down out of the sun! ⚓️☀️⚓️☀️⚓️
