After an amazing journey, filled with memories, wonderful customers, and so much support from our community, we’ve made the decision to sell our much-loved Ribbles.

Many of you may already know, and we’re now hoping to find the right new owners, who will share the same excitement, passion, and love for the journey ahead.

This has been such a special chapter for us, and we’d love to see it continue to grow and thrive in the hands of someone who feels just as excited about its future as we have.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!
Somebody get me the contact details of Richard Curtis…I’ve got a new screen play idea for him.
Introducing…The 3R’s
Recover! Rest! Rejoice!
(We love our R’s at Ribbles😂)
For the next few weeks, we will be very short staffed due to recovery from an operation, planned holiday and a wedding, so please bear with us and keep supporting us.
We will endeavour to run the kitchen as much as possible, however, some days it will only be possible to serve drinks, sweet treats and some savoury pastries.
We will get things back to “normal” as soon as we can. Until then, as Forrest Gump said…”life is like a box of chocolates…” You know the rest 🍰🍰🍰

We have been deliberating announcing this and have been putting it off for a long time, but it is with heavy hearts that we have decided to put our beautiful cafe, Ribbles of Holmfirth, up for sale.

This has not been an easy decision, as we have loved each and every moment that Ribbles has given us.

We started our journey just 9 weeks before lockdown forced us to close and we have battled through the last 2 years of endless disruption from the ongoing works in the centre of Holmfirth. We thank every customer who came through, and continues to come through, our door.

As the works are coming to an end, and due to time constraints and family commitments, we now feel this is the time.

It goes without saying that we will be looking for someone very special to take over our business, and until then, we will be open as usual.
We hope someone will love and enjoy Ribbles as much as we both have.

If you would like anymore information, please don’t hesitate to direct message us!
