The carding shed holmfirth is well worth a visit. Accessible by wheelchair friendly staff good honest tasty food. Costs are reasonable and you get plenty on your plate. We have been a few times and always come home happy

Food. Too expensive long wait even for starters then all arrived together. Good staff but not recommended by me. Maybe come in first a look round but no. Not a place I recommend folks

Right here we go. Accessible with a lift good toilet and can I say a lovely atmosphere
The food. I know we were a big party (12) but we waited 15-20 mins for the food which came starter first which were cold, our was the Asian chicken bites but then within minutes the main courses started arriving

3 meals were missing although these were ordered at the top of the list
On the whole the food was good standard mainly when it did arrive and the staff were great. I think it was a case of overwhelming the kitchen which would not happen in modern kitchens
Would I come again yes but with caution

The Bamburgh Castle inn Seahouses
What a brilliant view. I know you can’t see it in this shot but I can tell you it’s there. In the warmer weather they have a balcony roof top that you can use but we didn’t as it was a little chilly
That said the food is very nice and I mean nice.
We had been round bamburgh castle (very windy hold on to your hat) and as you enter this pub the feeling you get is comfort and warm. As it’s a hotel as well parking is tight but, within a few minutes walk there is a large car park with plenty of room
Accessible with toilets too it’s well worth putting on your list when up in this area
My Cumberland sausage with mash and a gravy to die for was a good potion and worth the money. Yes def recommend The bamburgh castle inn at seahouses
