The site of Goostrey Home and Leisure was originally an equestrian centre, it changed use and became a potato merchants, packing potatoes for local supermarkets. The site was purchased by the current owners the Thornhill family, who are farmers in Betchton, Cheshire and they decided to create what it is today.

Unfortunately, due to a full power cut in the area we have made the difficult decision to close for the rest of today.

This situation is completely out of our hands, and with no power we are unable to operate safely. We have been advised that the power is not expected to be restored for another 2–3 hours.

We know this will be disappointing, and we’re so sorry for any inconvenience this causes. Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and continued support.
