Reg & Rods pie & mash, bringing traditional East End Pie, Mash & Liquor all the way to your door step.

We are a family run business bringing the Great British, traditional east end taste to Hockley Essex. Pie and mash is a traditional working-class food, originating in the East End of London. Pie, mash and eel shops have been around since the 19th century, often referred to as
“Traditional East End Nosh”
and is still common today in the East and South of London as well as many parts of Kent and Es

sex. We source and use only the finest ingredients to bring you the authentic taste of the
traditional pie, mash, liquor & Eels we all love.

Good morning everyone ☀️

Sorry we haven’t been open we had to close our doors because the landlord closed us down after we agreed to set up the business/kitchen spent £1000s and now lost £1000s over them not wanting to put the sale of there land at jeopardy!!
They clearly didn’t want a fast food restaurant/takeaway on-site they rudely came in and turned customers away also sorry if this was one of you at the time 😔

We did secure another unit/kitchen then all hell broke loose as we had a family bereavement so things took its toll and we had no choice but to shut the shop BUT only for now!! 😬

We are looking to open up again in the winter months so keep an eye out and look for some new posts coming from this page 👀

Lastly we would like to thank each and everyone of you that supported us in our open times and we are looking forward to hopefully seeing you all again very soon 🤗

We are open now and will be open today and tomorrow for collection and delivery’s then we will be moving to our new shop in hullbridge after the weekend for delivery’s collection and eat in 🙌🏼
