This role would suit someone confident, reliable and used to working independently, with a strong background in fresh food and traditional menus.

* No live-in accommodation
* Salary to be discussed at interview

**The ideal candidate must:**

* Hold a **full UK driving licence**
* Be confident working independently
* Have strong experience working with fresh food
* Have an excellent and demonstrable understanding of food safety
* Be confident running and managing all aspects of kitchen food safety
* Be clean, tidy and presentable
* Work well under pressure
* Be reliable, organised and professional

So, Spud Man is in Biggleswade 🥔

I know everyone has mixed thoughts, and that’s fair enough — but sometimes it’s worth stepping back and looking at the bigger picture.

Yes, it’s a jacket potato.
Yes, we can all make one at home.
Yes, you can jazz it up with all kinds of fillings.

But what he’s built is about more than just a spud.

It’s about the power of social media, consistency, hard work, family values and deep-rooted tradition. It’s about showing up, grafting, building something from nothing and staying visible.
He’s also doing all of this while living with kidney failure — and for that alone, I take my hat off to the man 👏
