1️⃣ We’re Hertfordshire’s only cat cafe where the cats come first - always. Their comfort, routine and wellbeing shape everything we do.

2️⃣ All our rescue cats are carefully matched to lounge life by our friends at . They’re chosen because they’re likely to thrive in a sociable, relaxed environment - and every cat with us is looking for their forever home 🏡

3️⃣ Book a regular session and enjoy 1 hour in the lounge with our rescue cats while we bring your coffee, cake and treats over to you ☕🍰 Upgrade to the Afternoon Tea package for a special celebration.

4️⃣ We host themed event nights throughout the week - from jigsaw nights, to Sip, Paws and Paint, Tarot reading, yoga and more! See What’s On using the link in our profile. Bonus: event tickets include 2 hours in the lounge instead of 1 🎨✨

5️⃣ Got little animal lovers? Our special kids’ sessions (ages 5–10) run Thursdays & Sundays, teaching the importance of gentle pet care and respectful interactions 🐱

47 lounge cats (and counting!) rehomed in just a year. We genuinely couldn’t be more proud 😊❤️

Some bonds are just meant to last a lifetime 🐾

We’re delighted to share that lounge favourites Rita and Aubrey have found their forever home with our very own Evie and her family.

If you’ve visited the lounge recently, there’s a good chance you’ll remember these two. More often than not, Rita and Aubrey could be found curled up in one of the high hammocks, watching the world go by from above and winning hearts wherever they went.

Our Evie developed a special bond with Rita and Aubrey, getting to know their personalities, quirks and routines. Before long, it became clear that they all belonged together.

We’re so happy that these two have found a loving forever home with someone who already knows and adores them, and we know they’re going to be thoroughly spoiled.

This also marks the second and third Meow Lounge cats to be adopted by members of our team. We think that’s a wonderful reflection of what the lounge is all about. We don’t just care for the cats while they’re with us – we fall in love with them too, and nothing makes us happier than seeing them find the perfect family.

Congratulations, Rita, Aubrey and Evie. We can’t wait for the updates from your next adventure together ❤️

Howie 🐈‍⬛🃏 so enjoyed the magic the other night, we’ve had to plan another.

Our After Hours events are all about trying something new, getting crafty, tasting something delicious, meeting fellow cat lovers and enjoying extra-long cat time while you’re at it 😻(TWO whole hours in the lounge instead of the usual session)

Private Hire: Fancy the lounge all to yourself (and your friends)? You can book the whole lounge for private events! 🎉 Find out more on our website.

Afternoon Tea Upgrade: Make your visit extra special with a delicious afternoon tea, prepared by Taste Buds Hitchin 🍰☕ (booking required in advance)

We Love Little Visitors: Kids ages 5+get their very own special sessions, where kids can learn to be gentle, respectful, and full of love around our cats 🐱💛 Sessions usually Thursday at 5pm, or Sunday’s at 9am. See exact dates online.

Late Thursday Nights: We stay open late every Thursday for your usual lounging fix – more time to relax with our furry friends! 🌙

Special Weekly Late Nights: Every week there are different themed late nights – try something new, get creative, indulge in tasty treats… all while enjoying two hours of lounge time instead of one! Perfect for ultimate chill-out vibes ✨

Our first birthday fundraiser and raffle raised an incredible £770 for 💛

We chose to use our birthday to support the amazing work they do rescuing, caring for and rehoming cats in need of a little extra TLC, and we know this money will go a long way in helping more cats find safety and love.

A huge thank you to every single Meow Lounge supporter and friend who bought raffle tickets. We’re so grateful for this wonderful community.
