Welcome to October—aka Black Cat Appreciation Month! 🐈‍⬛🎃

Black cats hold a super special place in our hearts here at Meow Lounge. We’ve been lucky enough to watch so many timid voids grow into confident cuddle-monsters before heading off to their furever homes with The Scratching Post Cat Rescue .

To celebrate, we’re putting the spotlight on ALL our black cat residents, past and present! Swipe to see the gorgeous faces who have filled our lounge with purrs and affection. 💚

(P.S. How cute are the Halloween doodles on each photo? They were drawn by the super talented Evie! 🧙🏼‍♀️🎨)

Our handsome all-black boy Quinton has officially found his furever home! Watching this sweet, shy boy bloom into the softest, most affectionate sofa-snuggler in the lounge has been absolute magic.

We’re going to miss those green sofa belly rubs, Quinton! Wishing you and your new family a lifetime of love and chin scratches. 🖤🛋️

Adoption #61 is officially official: Miss Maggie has found her fur-ever home! 🏠🖤

It feels like yesterday she was a tiny, shy shadow hiding out in the corner of the room. Fast forward, and this little girl with the mighty meow was running the show—front, center, and perched atop her cat tower throne. 👑

We’re going to miss her signature moves:
🌋 Master-level games of "The Floor is Lava"
🧺 Curled up into a tiny black void in her favorite shelf basket
👑 Sitting front and center like the queen she is
Proof that the shyest souls often have the biggest personalities.

Maggie, you may be small, but you left a huge pawprint on our hearts. We will miss you lots but know you are going to love your new fur-ever home🐾🖤
