Right, here’s the updated menu!

We’re back tomorrow and hope we can remember how the till works!🤦

Have a nose and tell me what you’re having first! ❤️
More new items will be added as we adjust to our new set up! ❤️

REOPENING ON TUESDAY!

Is the new kitchen finished? Yes.
Do we know where anything is? Absolutely not.

Tuesday will be our first day cooking in it, so we’re preparing for a full scale dramatic pantomime. I will spend ten minutes looking for the bacon that’s right in front of me, Holly will be shouting, “WHERE ARE THE BAGUETTES? and then probably we’ll both be crying in the middle of the kitchen wondering whose idea it was to reopen. 🤦

But we’ve missed you, and we can’t wait to see you again. Come hungry, bring your sense of humour, and if you hear a scream from the kitchen, assume we’ve found the bacon (and the baguettes)❤️

🚨 QUICK UPDATE! 🚨

Tomorrow is a no. 😔

We’re nearly there, but not quite ready to unleash the new kitchen on you (or us) yet!

Friday? Maybe.
Saturday? Possibly.
Tuesday? Definitely open! 🥳

Basically… we’ll tell you when we know! ❤️

Thanks for bearing with us — we’re looking forward to getting back! 🍳

❤️

🚧 REOPENING UPDATE!

Just a little update from behind the scenes because a few of you have been asking when we’re reopening…

The kitchen extension is coming along, but as with all these things, it’s taking just a little bit longer than we hoped 🤦‍♀️

Realistically, we’re now looking at mid to late next week, Thursday is looking hopeful, but we shall see!

There’s a lot going on behind that closed hatch and we’d rather take the extra few days, get everything finished properly and then reopen ready to hit the ground running. 💪🍳

We’ll update again as we get closer!

Malcolm says “Thank you for being patient with us”. He’s been working so hard he’s worn out and gone for a nap. ❤️

TOMORROW (SATURDAY) IS OUR LAST DAY IN THE KITCHEN!

BUT… we need your help! 🤨

While we’re ripping everything apart, now seems like a very good time to ask…

What would YOU like to see added to the menu when we reopen?
Tell us below, as it might actually affect what we squeeze into the new kitchen! 🤗

Last chance for your Cabin fix tomorrow! ❤️

31/08/2026

😔OUR LAST DAY IS SATURDAY! ☹️

This is our LAST WEEK before the kitchen extension begins! 🔨🍳

We’ll be deliberately running stock down later in the week to avoid waste, so the menu may get a little smaller as Saturday approaches.

And on Saturday… when it’s gone, it’s gone! 👀

Then we close for at least a week while the Marsh Farm Team rip our little kitchen apart and make it BIGGER! 🙌

So if you need one last Cabin fix…

COME EARLY. 😂❤️

29/08/2026

📣 A little JustEat update…

We’ve made the decision to switch JustEat off for the time being.

Unfortunately, we’ve had orders sitting here today waiting far too long to be collected. We cook everything fresh, so we’re then faced with either sending food that’s no longer at the standard we’re happy with, or throwing it away and cooking the whole order again. And sometimes… doing the same thing twice. 🤦‍♀️ Not ideal when we are very busy here anyway!

We’re not prepared to compromise on the quality of our food, so until JustEat can get to the bottom of the collection issues, JustEat will be staying OFF.

Hopefully it’s only temporary, but fresh means fresh at the Cabin, and we’re sticking to that. x

🚨 A NEW RECORD! 🚨

Our BUSIEST AND BEST DAY EVER and it all went smoothly! 😂🙌

Thank you to our amazing team and everyone who kept us so ridiculously busy. ❤️

Next up is the kitchen extension!

Temporary closure imminent. 🤗

❤️

08/08/2026

Well… that was definitely unexpected! 🤯❤️

Sold out of a mountain of beans by mid-morning, then almost everything else by early afternoon, so we closed early!

Thank you all so much! ❤️ The Secret Garden was buzzing, the Cabin was buzzing, and you were all so lovely! 🥰

See you Tuesday… with more beans of course! 😇

30/07/2026

Ooh blimey… there are now over 1,500 of you following our little corner of Marsh Farm in Hilperton❤️

Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or have only just found us, thank you for every like, comment, share, recommendation and, most importantly, for walking up to our hatch and ordering your food!

What started as a little takeaway hatch has grown into something really special, and that’s because of all of you that support us!

Here’s to the next leg of our journey!

Honest heartfelt thanks, it means a lot to me and the team around us!

Rachel, Karen, Izzie, Ellie and, of course, Malcolm 🐾❤️
