Some lovely feedback from our guests staying with us recently....

Just like to mention how welcoming the staff on duty were last night at the bar, really accommodating, friendly and made us feel very welcoming.
Equally Yvonne was a real delight at breakfast time this morning. She was really attentive and made sure everything was just right for us.

Just wanted to pass on our gratitude and share how the staff had been.

We are reaching out to the Facebook community to see if anyone can help -
On Saturday our card machines went down and we had 3 guys who had to leave without paying- they did leave a phone number but we haven’t been able to contact them - so If anyone knows who they are can you ask them to kindly give us a call on 01433 620330 as the bill is over £100 which is a lot of money for a small independent business

My name is Matthew. On Monday the 23rd of this month my partner and I decided to dine at the Cheshire Cheese. We were visiting Castleton from York. I just wanted to give tidings of praise to the staff on the bar that night (I believe it was Tom and Will) as well as the kitchen staff. Everything was perfect. Tom and Will could not have been friendlier, more professional and accommodating. A credit to the pub and to the village.

Fantastic reviews about recent stays with us....

Anita 11th March we stayed for my birthday what lovely welcome the room was
clean and the staff friendly breakfast was especially nice served by
Angela we made friends with local couples and had evening meals on our next
visit we would prefer a room with a window I'm sure you will oblige ten out
of ten keep up the good work 👍 😀
