QUIZ NIGHT IS COMING TO PECADO

Right, you bunch of absolute know-it-alls. We’re starting a quiz night.

Every Friday evening we’re going to be testing your general knowledge, music knowledge, useless knowledge and probably your ability to remain friends with the people you came in with.

£2 per person to enter, teams of up to 4, and there’ll be £25 for the winning team.

And because we’re not completely selfish bastards, the money raised from the quiz will go to Sandan House to support their community soup kitchen.

So you get a Friday night out, a bit of healthy competition, the chance to win some cash AND you’re helping put food in people’s bellies.

Not bad for two quid.

We’ll have a few rounds, a few surprises, some absolutely solid questions and undoubtedly some questions that make you question why you bothered coming.

Starting Friday 11th September at 6pm (next Friday)

Get your team together. Give yourselves a stupid name. Pretend you’re clever.

The only rules are please don’t bring food or drinks in from other places …we have awesome food and drinks here anyway DUH and we have absolutely zero tolerance for creeps. Beyond that, adventure away my dudes!

MEET RYAN!

Ryan wants to be famous. So naturally, we’re gonna help him out!

Ryan is a massive Iron Maiden fan, loves his metal and, fittingly, his drink of choice is a black Americano because, in his own words, he likes the darkness 🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽

A few times a week Ryan hops on the bus and comes to hang out with us, and honestly, he’s an absolute awesomebloke. He’s always up for a chat, so if you see him in Pecado, make sure to say hey!

Oh, and he also does extra work for TV… so there’s a chance you might have already spotted him popping up in one of your favourite soaps!!

So let’s give Ryan the fame he deserves.

There are regulars... and then there’s Frederic!

At 92 years young, Frederick pops in a few times a week and orders exactly the same thing every single time: a cup of warm milk and a single shot of espresso. He always insists on paying, and we always insist he doesn’t (we refuse to take his money)

He’s still keeping fit, still lifting weights, and honestly puts most of us to shame!

One of our favourite things he says is that he loves coming in because everyone is so nice to him, and he enjoys the music. That means more to us than he’ll ever know 😊

So here’s to Frederick. We can all only hope to be half as cool, kind, and active as he is at 92.

Games nightttt! You asked for it, so here it is!
GREG kicks off a week from tomorrow!

This one’s going to be a bit of a soft launch while we figure out what works best, so if you’ve got ideas for future games nights, campaigns or anything else you think would be awesome, we want to hear them!

Thinking about starting a new D&D campaign (or any RPG) but don’t have a group? We’ll have tables set aside for people looking to meet other players and get something going. Who knows, your next long-running campaign might start over a coffee.
