What a absolute scorcher of a morning! And what a wonderful turnout.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along to our Veterans Breakfast this morning! It was a glorious morning and it was fantastic to see so many of you sitting outside to enjoy your breakfast in the sunshine. ☀️🍳
It was our biggest turnout yet, and there is nothing we love more than seeing everyone full, happy, and enjoying the pub. We’re so grateful for the ongoing support that lets us keep this monthly gathering running!
You certainly kept us on our toes—so much so that Phil had to get his roller skates on! 🛼💨 Thanks to his quick dash, we were fully replenished for service to continue in no time. A big extra thank you to those who got caught in the middle of the brief rush for seeing the funny side and bearing with us!

Our monthly Allen Valleys Leek Club Bingo is back this Sunday, 2nd August at 6:00 PM, right here at The King’s Head!

Our Midweek Feast is back from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, and this week’s star of the show is an absolute village favourite: THE ROMAN PIE!

This heritage special is packed with delicious, savoury mince simmered with rosemary, red wine, and a beautiful hint of honey, all tucked under a perfect golden crust. It is proper, hearty comfort food that you didn't have to sweat over.
