Friday - pie day? Customers have enjoyed the pies this week but we have plenty left if you fancy a warming lunch!
The soup today is warming tomato and pepper 😋😋😋
Here at Poppins I rarely bake 'fancy' cakes, preferring to offer traditional bakes, such as this rhubarb and almond cake made with rhubarb kindly gifted by a regular customer 🥰

Today we have both warming tomato, pepper and chilli soup (perfect with a cheese toastie), and pea and ham soup.
Look at this lovely review about our new pie lunch! We are so grateful when customers take the time to give feedback.
Ice creams are available all day, a perfect treat in this weather 😁

Excited for this week! We are moving into autumn with our menu 😁 your favourite toasties and jackets are still available but now we have delicious home made soup (today is pea and ham!) and...........pie and mash 🎉🎉🎉
Yes, that's right. Berrys bakery are supplying us with both chunky deep filled steak or Lancashire cheese and onion pie. Served with homemade buttery mash, either garden peas or baked beans and your own jug of gravy!
Honestly, they are delicious 😋
I have baked a tasty selection of cake as well, including an apple crumble cake.

It would be great to see you if you are out and about, don't forget our delicious coffee, hot chocolate and NEW matcha is available as a takeaway as well as eating in with your brunch 😊

It's Friday! That means it's treat day and as usual we have some tasty cakes on the counter 😍
Ellie has got stuck into the soup, so today we can offer both sweet potato and red pepper AND creamy mushroom! Large bowls, all made with fresh ingredients and gluten free!
In other exciting news, we met with Berrys bakery yesterday and after a day of tasting we are adding pies to our menu, hopefully from next week 😁
A lovely plate of pie, mash, garden peas or beans and a jug of gravy for lunch, just the ticket for the cooler weather 😋😋😋

Kicking off with a delicious roasted red pepper and sweet potato 🍠 🌶️ 😋!

Enjoy with slices of thick cut bread and butter or one of our yummy toasties or sandwiches 🥪!
