Guinness 0.0 is probably the most requested alcohol-free b**r in the pub right now 🍺

At the Old Cross it’s actually become the SECOND best-selling b**r in our fridge — only just behind Augustiner.

So I had to try it properly.

People keep telling me:
“If you were blindfolded, you wouldn’t know the difference…”

Honestly?
I’m not completely convinced.

But it’s MUCH closer than most alcohol-free b**rs manage to get.

As a pub landlord, here’s my honest take on:
• taste
• body
• mouthfeel
• and how close it really gets to a proper pint of Guinness

Clearly customers love it… but what do you think? 👀

Munich in 20 seconds 🍺🇩🇪

We landed in Munich and headed straight to Augustiner Keller — where a manager ended up giving us a free taste of their Maibock and even let us keep the glasses.

From there we wandered through the old town, b**r halls and food markets, eating sausages, pretzels and sauerkraut for breakfast with a Radler in hand.

And honestly?
What stands out most in Munich isn’t just the b**r.

It’s the atmosphere.

Busy b**r halls full of conversation.
People sitting together for hours.
B**r treated as part of everyday life rather than something rushed.

No gimmicks.
