🌞✨ Solstice Crown Workshop ✨🌞

Join us for a beautiful afternoon of creativity and celebration as we welcome the height of summer with our Solstice Crown Workshop!

Using a gorgeous selection of dried flowers, ribbons, crystals and natural materials, you'll create your own unique floral crown inspired by midsummer traditions and the colours of the season. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned maker, this relaxed and friendly workshop will guide you through simple floristry and crown-making techniques.

There's something special about making art outdoors and I'm thrilled to be hosting a lino cutting workshop at Croft Castle! Join me for a creative day of carving and printing, inspired by nature, history and the stunning surroundings of the Croft gardens 🌳🌲

⌚ 11am - 3.45pm
📍 Croft Castle, near Leominster, Herefordshire

Join us for a relaxed, adults-only lino cutting workshop inspired by the power and stories of ancient trees. Working outdoors in the Croft garden, you’ll explore expressive carving and printing techniques in a supportive, creative setting.

This immersive 4‑hour creative experience includes all tuition and materials, plus a leisurely break to enjoy a light lunch from the tearoom menu, included in your ticket price.

Perfect for beginners and those with some experience looking to create, slow down and draw inspiration from the natural world.

🎟️ Tickets are £45 which includes lunch token. Normal admission still applies.

Whether you're a National Trust member or not (or know someone who is) but keen to try lino cutting for the first time, looking to refresh your printmaking skills or simply seeking creative inspiration from the rich history and natural beauty of Croft Castle parkland, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to unwind, create and connect with your surroundings!

It was lovely to speak to so many friendly people who came to support and enjoy the celebrations!

I loved seeing all the different and creative results on all the bags!

Looking forward to more community event workshops in the future!

Thank you to everyone who came along, got creative and celebrated Pride with us! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

We had an absolute blast getting creative with everyone who stopped by our tote bag painting station. The response was so amazing we actually ran out of bags to paint! 🎨

It was wonderful to see both kids and adults unleashing their creativity, sharing smiles and making something uniquely their own. There were some excellent group efforts, lovely stencil work, heart warming messages and LOTS of colour! 🌈

The atmosphere throughout the day was full of positivity, love, joy, and community spirit and we didn't let the rain dampen our spirits! 🌞

A huge thank you to , all of the fantastic musicians who kept the celebrations going, the other fabulous stallholders and the sponsors who helped make the event possible. Your support created a truly memorable day for everyone involved! 💖

It’s village fete season, so get ready to be best-in-show at our Ribbon Rosette Workshop! 🌟

Join us to create your own handmade felt rosette celebrating anything you're proud of — from major milestones to everyday victories. Choose from a colourful selection of ribbons, felt, embellishments and decorations to make your design completely unique.

You will be guided through layering and constructing your rosette, and if sewing isn't your thing, don't worry — there's a no-sew option too! ✨

Suitable for all skill levels, this relaxed and friendly workshop is the perfect chance to get creative and make something you'll wear with pride.
