🔧💙 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣 𝗨𝗦 𝗙𝗜𝗫 𝗔 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗬 𝗧𝗔𝗣? 💙🔧

We're putting out a little SOS! 🚰

The tap in the men's toilets at Lee's Place has developed a leak, and we're hoping there might be a kind-hearted plumber or handy person in our community who could spare a little time to help us get it sorted.

It should only be a small job, but every pound we don't have to spend on repairs is a pound that can go directly towards supporting people experiencing homelessness. 💙

🎒 💚 Can You Help Us? 💚 🎒

We're urgently looking for donations of good quality rucksacks for our homeless guests at Lee's Place.

For someone sleeping rough or facing homelessness, a rucksack is so much more than a bag. It's somewhere to safely carry everything they own, warm clothing, toiletries, medication, important documents and food. It can make a real difference to someone's day-to-day life.

If you have any spare rucksacks in good, usable condition that you no longer need, we'd be incredibly grateful for your donation.

📍 Donations can be dropped off at Lee's Place, we are open every evening 6.00pm - 8.00pm or get in touch with us if you'd like to arrange an alternative.

🌞 𝗛𝗼𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 🌞

With extreme temperatures forecast over the next few days, it's important that everyone stays as safe and as cool as possible.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 has activated its 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹, so from tomorrow the Rough Sleeper Outreach Team is providing 𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 containing bottled water, sun cream and caps for anyone sleeping rough.

📞 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵, please contact the Outreach Team on 𝟬𝟭𝟰𝟯𝟮 𝟮𝟲𝟭𝟲𝟬𝟬 (𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟰).

💙 𝗟𝗲𝗲'𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭.𝟬𝟬𝗽𝗺 – 𝟰.𝟬𝟬𝗽𝗺 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week, offering a safe place to get out of the sun, rest, cool down and enjoy 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀.

📢 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁. A simple share could help someone access the support they need during this period of extreme heat.

🎭✨ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗲'𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲! ✨🎭

Today we were incredibly proud to be one of the venues for 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁, the fantastic new theatre experience from The Courtyard and Feral Productions.

We were delighted to welcome Mayor of Hereford, 𝗖𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘆, Project Director 𝗔𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀, performer 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗢𝗴𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗲, writer 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗱, and members of the public to Lee's Place for a truly unforgettable performance.

🍃 Our visitors also left beautiful messages of hope and encouragement for our guests, writing them on leaves that now brighten our community tree. Thank you to everyone who took part, you've left something really special behind. 💚

Wow! We've just had a surprise visit from Tammy and her team from BBC Hereford & Worcester to let us know that we are a finalist in the Make a Difference Awards. How absolutely fantastic! What a great start to the day!
