We can’t believe we will be in October next week…. Look out for the double page recipe we have given in this month (October edition)

We have also opened reservations for the Saturday evenings (5th, 12th and 19th) bookings in December (October and November being full at the moment on Saturday evening) as well as 2nd January

New Year’s Eve and Valentines (Saturday and Sunday) special events also now open for reservations

This coming week we have availability at the moment all week but 2 tables left only for Friday night

Bonjour

It’s that time of the year !!!
And this year is an exceptional one for Ceps (Also known as Porcini in Italian)
And we love them…. A powerhouse of flavours from the forest!
Just added on our menu « Tarte aux Cèpes poêlés et Duxelles »
Will you come and try it? We also have 2 tables left next Friday night
Also on the menu… sea Trout quenelles, lamb sweetbreads, scallops, Creedy Carver Ducks and much more…
On another note lookout for next month (October issue) where we will feature another double page recipe

Bonjour,

Sandra (Bruce’s wife) is really enjoying herself in the starters & Desserts section and here is our new scallops, Chorizo and onions quash velouté dish on the menu.

Our September, October and November Saturdays evening are fully booked but we have decided to open all Saturdays evening in December running up to Christmas.

New Year’s Eve is almost fully booked!

And heads up for the true romantic that Valentine’s Day is on a Sunday this year so we will be exceptionally open that Sunday and will run the Valentine’s menu both on Saturday and Sunday all day

Bonjour

Once in a while you meet a young person who has a twinkle in his eye and says he is passionate about something and it shows!
Let us introduce you to Oscar, a young man who approached us to give him a week work experience…. In that week he impressed us so much he came as much as possible this summer and we will carry on taking him on board at weekends while he finishes school before he wants to go to catering College and become a Chef in the view to open his own restaurant one day!!!

We rarely see such character nowadays and it is so refreshing!!! It has been a joy to have you with us Oscar… keep that passion alive….

We are closed next week for a week holiday and very much looking forward to it!

But we look forward to reopening on the second of September

Holiday on the Horizon….

We had a really good summer and Sandra (Bruce’s wife) has done wonders taking over the cold station looking after Starters and Desserts!

Big smiles from Sandra who just like all of us is looking forward to a week holiday (last week of August)!

We are open one more week and have a few tables left next week before L’Ecole des Amis shuts and will be reopening Wednesday 2nd of September
