First Dinner Service of the Year!

What a busy Wednesday night! Our Level 2 Catering students completed their first dinner service and did a brilliant job under pressure. 👏

A big well done to all the students who worked hard throughout the evening, and a special thank you to our Level 3 students for stepping in and helping the Level 2s when needed.

Great teamwork, plenty of learning and a very busy kitchen and restaurant!

We’re back!

Our first service of the new academic year is done, and it was great to have the restaurant back open!

The students have been busy in the kitchen preparing and cooking, then putting their skills into practice during service.

A great start to the year, and we’re looking forward to plenty more services, new dishes and lots of learning along the way.

What a great way to finish the year!

Today we celebrated with our Level 2 and Level 3 Hospitality & Catering students at our end-of-year meal.

A huge thank you to the team at Simply Wild Restaurant for their warm hospitality and the amazing food they served. Every course was beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed by both students and staff.

Congratulations to our Level 3 students as they complete their course and move on to exciting new opportunities. We’re incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved.

To our returning Level 2 students, we look forward to seeing you back next year as you continue your culinary journey.

Big news from London! 🇬🇧

Our student Charlie has just completed his work experience at the legendary The Savoy, an incredible opportunity for someone with such a passion for pastry and baking.
Charlie absolutely loves all things pastry, and we can’t wait to hear all about his exciting experiences, new skills, and what he learned during his time in London when he’s back with us.

Tonight marked the final dinner service of the academic year and the last service for our Level 3 students 👨‍🍳✨

Over the past year, these students have shown incredible hard work, professionalism, creativity and determination in every service. From developing their kitchen skills to working under the pressure of live service, they should all be proud of what they’ve achieved.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our restaurant throughout the academic year and helped give these students valuable real service experience.

We wish all of our Level 3 students every success in their future careers ❤️🔥

Back in the kitchen this week with the apprentices getting hands on with enriched and lean doughs.

We worked through soft, buttery brioche and perfectly structured focaccia, focusing on technique, patience, and understanding the dough at every stage. From mixing and kneading to proving and baking, it’s great to see their confidence growing with each session.
