Henfield, this heat is a bit much!
Next week Mon–Thursday (13th–16th) we’ll be taking last food orders at 2:30pm and closing at 3pm, just while the temperatures stay high.
Back to normal from Monday 20th.

Air‑con inside, peaceful garden outside, fresh salads and chilled smoothies all week.

Looks like another heat wave but we’ve got just the oasis you need! Our café is a summer haven with blissful air conditioning inside, a spacious garden perfect for soaking up the sun (or the shade!), and a menu full of iced drinks and fresh salads to keep you cool and refreshed.

Ultra Challenge Hike – Update

That was, without doubt, the toughest thing I’ve ever taken on! Walking through the night and witnessing sunset, twilight and sunrise all while on the move was surreal. The 3am–6am stretch was very difficult, but the scenery and ever‑changing terrain kept me going.

I made it to 83km in 24 hours — finishing with blisters, a limp, and knees on fire, but happy and proud.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported me and helped me hit my £1,000 target for WWF. Couldn’t have done it without you.

This year I am taking on another crazy challenge, to walk 100k continuously along the Jurassic coast!
This is going to be a tough one as it involves walking all day and night, without sleep to reach the finish line.
