❤️ This baby alpaca (cria) 🦙 is the first alpaca baby to have been born on the farm this week. She is so fluffy and very cuddly ❤️
When you next visit us, you can ask to see her. She has been called Bridget ( the midget) by the children 😍 .

In the heat, the alpacas 🦙🦙🦙have been making full use of the hosepipe
The three youngsters sat in a row 🦙🦙🦙 getting a lovely cold shower whilst their mums stood on guard 🦙🦙🦙.

Look 😍 who's hatched out in this heat! It's a baby pea chick 🐣.
Peahen eggs take 28 days to incubate and then the chicks 🐥 hatch themselves whilst mum protects and keeps them warm. The last few days there's been no problem doing that !

These chicks need a very high protein diet for correct development and have been enjoying crushed mealy worms 🪱 and mashed boiled eggs 🥚🥚.
That's certainly been keeping us busy 🤣
