Due to icy thawing conditions the river opening ceremony is cancelled tomorrow.
The river is still open but like John he’s waiting a few days for the water to fall ..
we are open from 8am this week Monday to Saturday -
serving breakfasts,hot filled rolls , soups sandwiches hot freshly cooked meals hot tea coffee

Not quite the re opening from our holidays we had hoped for . Rob and team have been floored with flu virus man flu 🤧 what ever it is it hit hard .
But - we are opening for tonight’s Christmas late night opening .
Christmas Yorkshire pudding wraps - turkey stuffing pigs in blankets roasties mash vegies in a yorkie wrap boom 💥
Hot filled jacket potatoes with chilli
Chicken curry , cheese and beans
Turkey dinner .
Egg nog triffles and Black Forest gateau
Plus lots more

Despite the weather it was smiles all round from the Thyme & Plaice team whilst we enjoyed a day of outside catering at the wedding of Kirsty & Michael.

We provided a true Highland feast with BBQ’d local produce, an array of salads, pulled pork and chargrilled veg for the wedding meal (no pics ooops!) followed by our incredibly moreish charcuterie boards in the evening.

We hope the bride, groom and their guests enjoyed the food as much as we enjoyed being part of their special day 🫶
