Is it time for a spring clean or a declutter?

We are always on the look out for any railway related items. Be it lamps, signs, uniforms, cast iron or even posters. We are also happy to do house visits to save you having to carry things.

Just give Stuart a call or WhatsApp on 07475 878209 and we can try and help generate some money for you and declutter.

Two Ts please, green Ts if available , this Saturday ……..

We have just taken a fantastic booking for this coming Saturday (28th).

Two green T’s are steam locomotives Tornado and Tangmere, both working southbound railtours this Saturday from Carlisle towards Blackburn and ultimately Birmingham and London.

34067 Tangmere starts us off, planned to be with us from 16:11 until 16:32.

60163 Tornado follows south rolling through us at around 17:25

The large car park and cafe will be open until Tornado has passed. Please can we ask you park in the large car park to keep Station Road free.

Colour is bursting out all over Hellifield station with the warmer weather.

Yellows, greens, purples are all visible. On Saturday (28th) we add Black to that list as the Cumbrian Mountain Express is headed by black 5 - 45407.

Due with us from just after 16:15 until 16:30 and it’s followed south by the Statesman railtour diesel hauled passing us at 16:59 to round off the week nicely.

It’s always worth checking we are open or reserve a table if your traveling a long distance. We don’t open Mondays, not even for the King. So after disappointment at Hellifield he decided to head to Clitheroe 😉

Splash and dash 💦

It’s a whistle stop visit for 34067 Tangmere tomorrow here at Hellifield. Watering between 16:15 until 16:30 (Sat 7th Feb)

We are open for drinks and cakes until she leaves

Pick up the phone and let them know…. Steams back at Hellifield tomorrow (Sat 31st)

34067 Tangmere heads south with the Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express

She is with us from 16:25 until around 17:30 when she leaves to head back to Carnforth allowing the train to continue its journey diesel hauled
