Welcome to The Shipwrights Arms — a little piece of Cornwall sitting proudly on the banks of the beautiful Helford River.
Tucked away in the peaceful village of Helford, our riverside pub is all about great food, even better company and making the most of one of Cornwall’s most special settings. Whether you’re joining us for lunch, dinner, a drink by the water or a sunny afternoon on the terrace, there’s always a warm welcome waiting.

We serve freshly prepared, wholesome food, with a menu inspired by the best local ingredients and the incredible produce that comes right to our doorstep. From Cornish classics to seasonal favourites, there’s something for everyone.

Want to wake up beside the water? Our four contemporary guest rooms sit right on the river, offering peaceful, comfortable accommodation with beautiful views across the Helford. Each room has a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom and everything you need for a relaxing Cornish escape.
