Our hilltop cafe, butchery & deli is situated in the heart of the stunning Pennine landscape, with a magnificent view of Stoodley Pike. Find us at the top of Cragg Vale, towards Ripponden & Rochdale. Our butchers counter is second-to-none, and all our meat is sourced locally. Our beef, lamb and Pork is reared on local hillsides, typically only traveling as little as 6 miles before arriving with us

. Our beef is aged to perfection on-site, for the best steaks and succulent roasts. As a responsible supplier, we believe strongly in the welfare of the animals and only work with farmers that we know and trust. We love food; we love the local area; and we believe that when we support other local farmers, growers, manufacturers and makers, the community we live in thrives. Come and say hello; ask us about some of the tastiest produce you will find in the whole region; sit and have a coffee whilst admiring the view; and browse our farm shop to your heart's content. Just some of the tasty bites the butchers have created to keep you going through tonight. Shop open 10am to 4pm today. Open as normal tomorrow.
Cafe last orders is 3pm today serving breakfast and main menu all day. Have you tried a Craggies Roast Dinner, they are so good.

So this is it after 3.5 years we are saying goodbye to Debbie our cafe supervisor. She will be missed by everyone here at Craggies but none more than me. I thank her for all the hard work she’s put into Craggies over the years. I know our customers will also be so sorry to see her leave us . We all hope Debbie will become a regular customer for long lunches and cake!
She stayed so long after her shift had ended we had to kick her out 😂😂

Aubergine Parmigiana layers of aubergine, ohh so tasty, tomato sauce topped with a creamy sauce and mozzarella baked. Put one in your basket this weekend.

Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there. We are open as normal today (10am to 4pm) please remember that Cragg Rd is closed until 12.30pm due to a community event. You can reach Craggies via Sowerby or from Mytholmroyd using Scout Rd/Steep Lane.
