⚠️ LOCAL BUSINESS WARNING ⚠️

I’m posting this to warn other local shop owners and staff.

Today at around 6:07pm, one of our staff working at Yaw’s Kitchen was unfortunately tricked into handing over cash by a man who came into the shop.

We are sharing this as a warning so other businesses and their staff can be extra careful and not fall for similar scams.

To the man involved: we sincerely hope you will do the right thing and return the money to the young lady who was working in the shop. She was simply doing her job and this has understandably been very upsetting for her.

Please stay alert when dealing with unusual cash requests or anyone trying to pressure staff into handing over money.

If anyone recognises the situation or has useful information, please contact Yaw’s Kitchen directly. We have reported this crime to the police.

🚨 Apparently we are not the only one who has been targeted. We were contacted by another owner locally and her staff has been scammed with the same trick same day too, hopefully any owner who had been going through this unfortunate experience, please report to the police. 😔
