Hi all!
You will be aware that government regulations have changed as of the 19th of July and most covid restrictions have now been removed. While social distancing is no longer legally mandated, we will continue spacing out tables, wearing masks and asking that masks be worn when entering and moving around the Tearooms. We appreciate that this may be an inconvenience but on balance have decided that keeping our current safety measures in place is in everybody’s best interests. Thank you all for your understanding and support and we look forward to seeing you!

Hi everyone,

We hope this message finds you all safe and well! There is finally light at the end of the tunnel and we’re so excited to be able to open again on Tuesday April 13th at 10am. As we all know this will come with some changes from the norm due to following government guidelines;

* Seating will only be available outside, however this will be limited spaces and weather dependent. This can be booked in advance by phoning 01444811777
* Unfortunately nobody will be allowed to enter the premises unless it is to use the bathroom facilities.
* Take away will be available at all times during opening hours, orders can also be made by phone
* Please wait to be seated on the outside tables so that we can sanitize between sittings
* We will be working with a limited menu for the time being until we can open fully again (any special requests please ask).

We will review the above as government guidelines change and will post any updates on here. We’re looking forward to catching up with you all soon

At last we are nearing the end of the second lockdown and we are looking forward to reopening again on Wednesday 🎉
As with before, regulations are still in place which means that we seat fewer people, because of this it is recommended that you phone 01444 811 777 and book your table to avoid disappointment.
We are still running a take away service, inclusive of whole pies, cakes etc made to order, this can be arranged on the number above.
With the festive season in full swing we are also running our Christmas menu which we have attached to this post, however, this is by prearranged order only, our usual menu will run as normal.

Firstly, we would like to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing customers for their continued support through these very unusual times! We’ve loved seeing you all back at the Tearooms.
We have cooked apples for sale, freshly picked from the garden, £2.50 per bag available to be picked up from the tea rooms 🍏

Hi everyone, we are looking forward to opening again at 10am tomorrow. Our opening hours going forward will be as follows:
Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 3pm
Sunday - 10.30am - 3pm
Due to the current circumstances, please be aware these may change at short notice but we will keep you updated.
We mentioned in our previous post that we will be working with a slightly reduced menu, the details of which are now below. Don’t forget, our roast dinners will still be available on Sunday’s 😄 If you would like to book a table, please phone 01444 811 777 from tomorrow morning onwards.

Hi everyone, we hope you have all been keeping safe and well over the last few difficult months, we have missed seeing you all and are looking forward to seeing you very soon. We are happy to announce that our doors will be open again from Tuesday 14th July at 10am.
There will be some changes put in place to ensure that we are following the government guidelines and keeping you and ourselves as safe as possible. These changes have been listed below, please have a read so that you know what to expect when you visit:
* Fewer tables, meaning a lower capacity. This is to ensure social distancing between tables is in place.
* Please wait at the door to be seated, this is so that we can safely show you to your allocated table.
* We will be wearing masks, gloves and plastic aprons which will be changed at regular intervals.
* There will be a sanitising station for all customers to use upon entry.
* We will ask for your name and contact details, this will be for contact tracing. We will only hold this information for 21 days.
* We will have a slightly reduced menu but don’t worry, all the old favourites will still be on there! Details of the menu will be posted shortly.
* We will be doing a take away menu, please phone 01444 811 777 in advance to place your order, this will save you from waiting outside the shop for any length of time.
* At present, we will only be accepting payment by card, when you are ready for your bill, please wait at your table and we will come to you.

Please be aware that these new measures are subject to change. If you do have any queries please reach out.

Hi All,
Thank you for all of your support and your kind words. Due to the UK government announcing the lockdown, we are no longer able to provide the service mentioned in our earlier post at present, we will keep you updated as the situation changes and when we will be able to resume this service.

We hope you are staying safe and well during this sad time. Along with the rest of the UK restaurants we have now sadly had close for the foreseeable future. We are able at present to provide a take away service where you can pick up from the shop at an arranged time or if you are choosing to self isolate, we can deliver to your doorstep within a 5 mile radius. Types of payment we are accepting will be via card (if you choose to pick up) or Paypal. Items that can be ordered;
