Join us in making a real difference to our coastline at the upcoming SOS Beach Clean on the 14th July, organised by Save Our Sand and Friends of the Towans.

📍 Starting point: 10am - Reception at Beachside Holiday Park

These community beach cleans are a brilliant way to help protect our beautiful beaches, support local wildlife, and keep the Towans looking their best for everyone to enjoy. Every pair of hands makes a difference. 💙

🌿 What to expect:
• Meet at Beachside Holiday Park reception
• Friendly group and welcoming atmosphere
• All equipment provided (or bring your own gloves!)
• A chance to give back to our coastline
• Fresh air, great company, and real impact

Take on the beautiful 2.4 mile circular route through the sand dunes of this stunning nature reserve — a peaceful walk with incredible coastal views and a fascinating past.

Once home to the National Explosives Works, the landscape still holds echoes of its history, with blast enclosures, old factory remnants, and reservoir structures still visible among the dunes.

It’s an easy to moderate walk, perfect for a relaxed afternoon exploring one of Cornwall’s most unique coastal landscapes. Why not finish your day with a delightful meal and a soothing drink at Coast Beachside?
