It has been one hell of a journey! I have faced challenges I never thought I would ever have to face. This has also been the toughest mental battle I have ever had to fight.
It saddens me to announce that Bloomin has closed its doors for the last time and the whole Bloomin' story has come to an end.
We survived through a pandemic and have been through some very tough times. But, facing each of these challenges only made me a stronger person.
I need to focus on starting a new chapter in my life as Bloomin could no longer survive.
I could use a load of excuses, such as the recession or the cost of energy prices, but I won't. Everyone's life is made up from each and every decision made, whether good or bad decisions. Just like when some risks are worth taking, some risks have only answered my questions.
I will take full responsibility. But 1 thing is for sure, I tried my very best, and hey, I gave it a bloody good go!
The full experience has taught me some valuable lessons both in life and in business.
I want to reassure, mainly myself, that I will never give up, I just need to take these learnings and reset my destination.
Haters are welcome to laugh, but I will only accept criticism from those who have been through similar to what I have been through, or those who have a successful business.
This will be the last Bloomin post you see from me. So to finish off, I would like to say thank you to all who have supported me, my business and my family. Most of all, thank you to those who stuck by me right until the very end.
It has been very difficult for me to come to terms with this and has taken me a few days to have the strength, to announce this post.
