Joining us this Friday? Don’t forget to pre-order your platter!

We can’t wait to welcome back the Dan Messore Trio and this time with special guest Jake McMurchie, to play their twist on the music of Duke Ellington.

McMurchie was awarded the BBC Jazz Awards Album of the Year in 2008 for his band Get the Blessing’s debut album and has been championed by many all over the UK jazz scene. Certainly one not to be missed here in Pembrokeshire!

Join us on Fri 21st August where this time Dan and his band will be joined by one of the UK's hottest jazz saxophonists right now, Jake McMurchie!

They'll be coming together for one night only to put their own spin on the music of Duke Ellington, the pioneer who wrote some of jazz’s most beloved tunes which helped define the sound of the genre for generations.

Why have we made the switch? 👉🏼 They’re 100% paper recyclable, home compostable, and even fully biodegradable. A standard take away lid can take up to 200 years to break up, cups take 30 years to decompose... but The Good Cup? Only 6 months!

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to cancel our upcoming live jazz evening on the 17th with the Dan Messore Standards Trio & Jake McMurchie.

JAZZ IN TYDDEWI IS BACK THIS JULY! 🎷

We are thrilled to announce the return of the Dan Messore Standards Trio on Friday 17th July. And we're not stopping there, for one night only, they will be joined by one of the UK's finest saxophonists, Jake McMurchie, to celebrate and perform the unmistakable music of Duke Ellington.

After a hugely successful evening in April, how could we not put on another!

Oh and more good news? It's FREE ENTRY AGAIN! 🥳

It was a huge pleasure to cater for the Pembrokeshire College students, staff and VIPs today as they celebrated the biggest day on their calendar - graduation! 🎓☀️

The sun was shining, the sparkly was flowing, and it was wonderful to play a small part of such a special occasion and help celebrate everyone’s incredible achievements.

We’re super excited to be sponsoring and taking part in “Look For A Book Hunt” this week in St Davids! 📚✨

Jamie at Little Otto Books has done an amazing job fundraising over 300 brand new children’s books, which will be hidden around the city for little readers to discover.

We’ll be hiding 5 books each day so if you find one, take it home, enjoy the story, then re-hide it for another child to find and love!

We’re officially a B Corp! 🌍

We are so proud to share that MamGu Welshcakes has achieved B Corp certification, making us only the 13th Food & Drink business in Wales to do so... and the first ever welsh cake company!

This is something Laura & Sam have been working tirelessly towards for a long time. B Corp is not just as a badge, but is a way of holding ourselves accountable to the way we’ve always believed things should be done - it’s our promise to you that we’re prioritising transparency in how we do business, look after our community, and our planet.

This is certainly not a finish line, infact this is a new baseline for everything we do next. We’re already looking at ways we can be better at everything, from who we work with to the ingredients we use and where them come from.
