Following the extremely upsetting attempted theft of our beloved gargoyles, Thomas & Hardy, we have removed them to safely retire from Market St. Truly the end of an era.....
So many years & so many memories of them delighting children, frightening passing dogs & of course, doing their job of repelling evil spirits.
PCC will be happy! Just one of their many objections to the evolution of The George's over the decades....

We are delighted to say that our raffle and sale of memorabilia from 35+ years of trading, raised a whopping £1,175 for Greenacres Rescue

Really enjoyed our little get together @ planet George's today to do the Buddha raffle draw. With many thanks to fabulous David, a regular customer since 1989, who drew the winning ticket & to Greenacres Rescue Evette Lewis Eardley for your support. Shame the Oscar winners have already been announced 🤣🤣
We have a couple more pledges for memorabilia to collect & we will announce how much we have raised.
