Never a post you think you will be writing, no cryptic messages, no guessing what happened, no rumours
During service today, someone came in and reported smoke coming down the site. On closer inspection our old house, the building we now use as the site office and reception was smouldering and subsequently went on fire
We have lost everything inside that building
Some we will be able to find online once we are able to get a new laptop, some we won’t

The restaurant is unaffected, the booking system is still live, however all my paper records are gone
If you have booked with us for Christmas, I will be able to track the booking, but I’m asking you to bare with me

Thankyou to Mid & West Wales Fire & Rescue Service Gwasanaeth Tân ac Achub CGC / MAWW Fire and Rescue for their swift response and amazing efforts to contain the fire and stop any potential spread
Thankyou to all our customers who bared with us while clearly in a very stressful situation
Thankyou to all our amazing staff who held the fort and kept service going because at this point I was now an emotional wreck
Lastly Thankyou to our neighbours & friends and to all the messages of support we have received

Undoubtedly there will be some closures as we try to process and get things sorted, but we will try to keep any disruptions to a minimum and keep our customers informed as much as we can x

An amazing job from Will and his team.
It’s been a huge bugbear of mine since we owned the place, that the first thing customers see on arrival is the bins
Even got a 1 star review once because the bins were fuller than normal due to being a bank holiday weekend

Now, no more bins on show

Sincere thanks to all who have and continue to visit us both over the summer and throughout the year.
Summer was a busy one, both on the campsite and in the restaurant, selling out of many of our homemade meals and Sunday lunch yesterday wow, SOLD OUT AGAIN.

Thankyou to everyone who has enquired after our Christmas party menu and Christmas Day menu, we will be finalising them this week.
