We’ve been busy behind the scenes, testing recipes, refining details, and perfecting the little things that make all the difference.

The new menu is finally here, filled with the food we love most at this time of year — colourful plates, bold flavours, creative combinations, and ingredients at their very best.

The new Poké Bowl is already proving popular, with a choice of Korean marinated jammy eggs, cold smoked trout, or pearl oyster mushrooms.



New ciabattas include mortadella, pistachio pesto, rocket, heritage tomato & Straciatella (creamy mozzarella 😍🫣). 

Spanish tomatoes are back — our number one bestseller and a favourite since day one.

Our signature RSK Salad Plate has had a complete makeover, and seeing your reactions over the last few days has made all the hard work worthwhile.

Here’s a little peek at what’s been coming out of the kitchen lately… 

And we’re not stopping there — something special is landing at the end of the week, and you’ll want to be first in line.

Only just getting round to posting these from Friday night’s Seasonal Supper Club ✨

What a truly special evening.

The room was full of chatter, happy faces, old friends, new friends, and such a lovely atmosphere from start to finish. We came away feeling incredibly proud of the food, the service, the welcome drinks, and the whole experience we created together.

These evenings take a huge amount of work behind the scenes, so when everything comes together like it did on Friday night, it means the world to us.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it one of our favourite Supper Clubs we’ve hosted so far 🤍

The Brown Butter & Sesame Fat-Washed Old Fashioned.

Smooth bourbon, rich brown butter, toasted sesame, and just the right amount of indulgence.

It’s smoky, silky, nutty, warming — and honestly… kind of addictive. The perfect way to kick off our Middle Eastern inspired menu.

A classic cocktail, completely reimagined by our team for one night only.

We’ve been back in the kitchen planning, testing and putting together our next menu, Riverside Kitchen’s Spring / Summer 2026 and it’s something we can’t wait to share with you all!

We get asked a lot about our signature Spanish Tomtoes, and yes they are coming back in all their glory 🍅❤️🍅 we just have to wait patiently for them to be perfectly ripe and full of flavour.

You may recognise other dishes, some have been tweaked and others are brand spanking new.

This is us… in the middle of it all.

Coming from two very different career backgrounds. One in comms and big corporations and the other hospitality through and through.

Running a business together isn’t always plain sailing. Some days feel like a win and you can take on the world, others feel like you are still figuring it out as you go.

There’s been big moments, small moments, and plenty of hard work in between… but it’s always been us, side by side, with our team.

And we’re still smiling 🥂

Before Riverside Kitchen, things looked a little different.

From building Peak District Deli, to long days in the kitchen, a new cafe, multiple weddings, private dinner parties to moments like this along the way.

Before Riverside Kitchen, Ralph was behind Peak District Deli — our first business together. He built and designed our e-commerce business and we started our event catering. We only worked with local independent food & drink producers.

A few years on, things look a bit different.

Twice a year we take our fabulous team out for a social and this week was filled with laughter and chatter. Oh did we laugh!

We are so fortunate to work with such a fantastic group of people, a real international team.

There are moments in hospitality that are incredibly busy, intense and hard work but together we get through it. From different corners of the world, each person brings something special to the cafe — culture, creativity, and a whole lot of passion.

We’re proud of the energy, warmth, and hard work that fills our cafe every day, greeting you wonderful customers.

As we go into our fifth year very soon we are both excited to work alongside these guys and welcome you back again and again.
