Festive Textile Holly Workshop at The Crown!

Come and make a gorgeous handmade Holly Decoration with Tara at The Crown Hastings.

There’s nothing so wonderful as spending a couple of leisurely hours being creative with like-minded people and making something special for yourself or your loved ones this winter!

All materials and the pattern are provided and there will be beautiful vintage and Liberty fabrics for you to make your own festive heirloom treasure. I will show you step by step how to sew your own decoration that you can make to adorn your home and tree this festive season.

Spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
You will need to bring your basic sewing kit and I will provide everything else!

James Mortimer in the snug: James is an academic oil painter based in Hastings Old Town. He specialises in figurative work, portraits, animal studies and landscapes using traditional techniques and materials. He draws inspiration from baroque art and 17th century masters. Largely self taught, James spent 20 years working as a diplomat, before moving to focus full time on art in 2023. His work has been exhibited widely in London, Los Angeles, Berlin and Amsterdam.
