JOB advert -Barista (all rounder) Please share
A permanent part time job is available for our sometimes busy coffee shop/cafe which provides customers with breakfasts, hot food, beverages, drinks, snacks etc.
We are seeking -
A fully trained Barista who is able to produce high quality drinks to order in an organised and timely manner
Or
Someone who has worked in a busy cafe environment and who is competent and organised with some experience of making barista style drinks and is looking to improve their skills.
We are open Thurs to Sunday and working hours are pretty flexible although we do need people who will be happy to work at the weekend. As well as all day working Shifts are also available between 9.30am to 2.30pm and 11.30am - 4pm Thurs to Sun.
We are looking for people who are great multitaskers who can work on their own and are able to use their initiative as well as work as part of a team.
You must be able to work efficiently and quickly in a methodical, tidy manner which will include cleaning, washing-up and stocking up as well as taking orders.
If you have any of the following skills we would love to have a chat:
Previous experience of working in a busy hospitality environment (required)
Barista training or experience in some capacity which would enable you to make a barista style drink when requested (required)
Experience/understanding of using an epos system
Excellent customer service skills and an enthusiastic and cheerful manner
Ability to work under pressure in an organised methodical manner
Pay is dependent on experience and competence + a portion of all tips which are a significant boost to your paycheck. We also offer selected free meals and drinks as well as other perks for successful applicants
We aren’t currently looking for unskilled staff with no experience so won’t ask you to come in for a paid trial if you aren’t able to provide details of relevant training, skills or experience.
