We’ve got a busy few weeks coming up at The Stag! 🍻🎶

There’s plenty happening over the next month, with live music, folk nights, local art and, of course, plenty of good food and drink along the way!

🎶 CIRCUIT WEDNESDAYS — LIVE FROM 7PM
We’ve got a brilliant line-up coming your way:
• This Wednesday — Yasmien Huband
• Next Wednesday — Conall Ryan // 28 // NZ // UK
• Then — Toby Barelli
• Followed by — MAR official
• Wednesday 23rd — Milton Hide

All part of our regular Circuit Wednesdays, bringing live music to The Stag every week!

🪕 THIS THURSDAY — LIZ & ROB’S FOLK & BLUES NIGHT
Join us from 8pm for an evening of folk, blues and great music in the pub. Pop along, grab a pint and settle in!

🎻 EVERY TUESDAY — FOLK NIGHT
Our much-loved regular folk session continues every Tuesday from 8pm. Musicians and listeners alike are always welcome!

🎨 ART AT THE STAG
We also currently have a wonderful exhibition by Theresa Caruana on display around the pub. Pop in, have a wander and check it out while you’re here! Theresa Caruana

🍽️ And amongst all of that, we’ll be running our regular food service throughout, so there are plenty of opportunities to make an evening of it.

Another great week ahead at The Stag! 🍻🎶

✨ Tuesday – Folk Night from 8pm. Bring an instrument, your voice, or simply come along and enjoy the atmosphere.

🎤 Wednesday – Yasmien Huband joins us with The Circuit from 7pm for an evening of live music.

🎸 Thursday – Los Twangueros take over the front bar from 7pm alongside our evening food service.

🔒 Friday – Closed for a private function.

🌿 Monday, Saturday & Sunday – Open as normal for food and drinks. If the sunshine sticks around, our garden is looking rather gorgeous and is the perfect spot to spend the weekend.

The Stag Inn, 1547–Today 🍻

From a timber framed alehouse in the 16th century to the pub you know today, The Stag has watched almost five centuries of life pass by on All Saints Street.

We absolutely love discovering old photographs like these and seeing just how much both the pub and the street have evolved over the years. From the cottages that once lined the road to the changing frontage of The Stag itself, every picture tells another chapter of its story.

Nestled in the heart of Hastings Old Town, All Saints Street has been home to merchants, fishermen, smugglers, and locals for centuries. Despite all the changes, it’s still a place where people come together, something we’re proud to continue at The Stag.

Here’s to preserving a little piece of history while adding our own chapter to a building that’s been welcoming people since 1547.
