Hello Everyone...We are back from our Easter break and up and running with a new delicious lunch menu!
If you haven't visited us before, we are COAST Training Restaurant, located within East Sussex College in Hastings next to the Hastings train station. We are open to the public (term-time only) Monday-Friday from 12.30 pm-3.30 pm for lunch (last reservation 1.30) and on Thursday evenings from 6.30 pm we serve a 5 course dinner.

We had THE most wonderful time on our trip to Oxford with our Front of House students. Thank you Dean Foster for arranging our trip, which included a delicious dinner, beautiful hotel rooms and an amazing breakfast. And also, thank you for showing us two of the hotels which were pivotal in your career in Hospitality!
East Sussex College

It was a pleasure to welcome hospitality students from East Sussex College to voco Oxford Thame this week as part of National Careers Week.

The group joined us to gain first-hand insight into how our hotels operate day-to-day; exploring the modern tools, technology and techniques we use to enhance the guest experience, while also learning about the skills and mindset needed to stay competitive in today’s hospitality job market.

From front-of-house operations to a behind-the-scenes look at our back-of-house functions, students experienced the full journey of a working hotel. They also discovered more about the opportunities available through the IHG Academy, a programme designed to help young people build careers in hospitality through training, mentoring and real-world experience.

Dean Foster, Lecturer in Hospitality and Catering at East Sussex College, described the visit as “inspirational”, adding that the students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and left feeling motivated to build their careers in the industry.

By opening our doors, sharing knowledge and showcasing the diverse and rewarding pathways our industry has to offer, we are nurturing the next generation of hospitality professionals - a perfect way to mark National Careers Week.
