Local Independent Coffee Trader Announces Strategic Corporate Sell-Out

After several years of proudly serving handcrafted coffee as a fiercely independent operator, local coffee trader Café La Mer, has today announced a bold new direction: the complete and unapologetic sale of their soul to corporate coffee culture.

The new venture, Costa La M***e, represents a groundbreaking shift away from small-batch passion, community spirit, and personal integrity, and toward something far more profitable.

“Running an independent coffee business has been incredibly rewarding,” said Marc the founder. “But after years of early mornings, hard work, and caring deeply about the quality of coffee and the people drinking it, I realised something important, multinational coffee chains seem to be having a much easier time.”

The newly branded coffee truck, finished in the iconic burgundy tones of corporate café culture, will symbolise the founder’s transition from independent coffee rebel to fully certified corporate sell-out.
