Part-Time Front of House Assistants

With some of our lovely Front of House team soon heading off to university, we’re looking for two new part-time Front of House Assistants!

What we’re looking for:
• Minimum 12 months’ hospitality experience
• Friendly, enthusiastic and reliable
• Available to work a mixture of daytime, evening and weekend shifts
• Approximately 10–15 hours per week

⚽️Early Closing - Wednesday 15 July⚽️

As England will be playing in the semi finals of the Workd Cup tomorrow evening, we will be closing the restaurant early so that our team can watch the game.

The restaurant will close at 7:45pm, which will be our last collection time. We will be open for dine in between 5pm and 7:45pm.

We happened to have an all female team who were working at VPK this weekend and it was great to be able to take a moment to grab a quick pic on fair day!

We are incredibly lucky to have a truly wonderful team, with lots of lovely boys as well as girls - all of who work so hard, with grace, positivity and a smile! We really are one big dysfunctional family and I couldn’t be more proud ❤️

We are set up and ready to welcome you at the brilliant annual 🎡 🎡 this weekend!

This evening, we will be serving our delicious Detroit style pizza, along with our famous Ponuts from 5:30pm on the park and tomorrow we will have our traditional woodfired pizzas available from Little Pizza Kitchen from 12pm on South Avenue!

The restaurant will be open for dine in and takeaway from 5pm this evening and all day tomorrow from 12pm, with our usual menu available.

☀️EXTREME HEAT UPDATE☀️

Please be advised that due to the exceptional temperatures forecast this week, we have taken the decision to close for lunch service on Wednesday and Thursday.

The welfare of our team is extremely important to us, particularly for those working alongside the pizza ovens during the hottest part of the day. Closing at lunchtime will help keep our staff safe and ensure we can continue providing the high standards of food and service you expect from us.

We plan to be open as usual for evening service, however may need to make further adjustments to opening times and the menu offering accordingly.

Part time Assistant Restaurant Manager

We’re now recruiting for a part time Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our lovely team. You will ideally have proven restaurant experience in a FOH supervisor / management role, a passion for providing fantastic service and be a brilliant people person!

We are proud to be an award-winning restaurant with an excellent reputation for both our food and service and to have a really friendly team.

20 to 25 hours per week.
Competitive pay and service charge.
