The news you’ve all been waiting for… ✨

Since the fire, we haven’t stopped fighting to reopen — and we promised we would.

We’ve recently had some positive news that has moved us one big step closer, and work will be starting very soon. We’ll be able to share an official reopening date as soon as everything is confirmed.

The past year has been incredibly tough, but we truly can’t wait to welcome you all back through our doors and see your lovely faces again.

Thank you so much for your patience, support and kindness — it has meant everything to us.

We’ve seen and heard a lot of messages and comments regarding the recent fire at the café, and we wanted to take a moment to address it directly.

The fire began due to an electrical fault in the meter. It was a completely unexpected incident and no fault of ours or of anyone else.

We are incredibly grateful for the kind words, support you have shown us and our neighbours at Cumin during this difficult time, and we are happy to see they are back up and running.

While we can confirm that we will be reopening, because the fire originated within the café itself, the process will take a little more time than we’d like. Please bear with us—we’re working hard behind the scenes to get everything back up and running safely and beautifully.

As soon as we have a confirmed reopening date, we’ll let you all know. We truly can’t wait to welcome you back through our doors.
