The farm shop is stocked up and ready for the weekend.

Pop in for local sausages, steaks , chicken , pies and pasties, fresh milk, eggs, cream and yoghurts, local honey , bread , biscuits & cakes .

We’ve also got Derbyshire tea, preserves, fruit juices and Buxton Brewery beers to take home. And if you fancy a browse, our autumn gift display is looking lovely too 🍂

Whether you’re picking up a few weekend essentials or treating yourself to something tasty, every visit supports our family run shop and the local producers we’re proud to stock. Thank you for shopping local ❤️

Today’s specials are giving us all the cosy autumn lunch vibes 🍂

Our homemade blue cheese & tomato soup is ready to warm you up, served with local artisan bread for dipping.
Our soup is also gluten free 🙂

Or tuck into local free range chicken breast with bacon and cranberry.
Have it in a bap with chips and a little pot of dipping gravy,

or as a toastie with farm shop salad and homemade slaw.
You can add Brie to the toastie too… and we definitely would! 🧀 🤤

🍫 Three chocolate makers, each with something a little different! 🤎

Cox & Co is made locally in Stoke-on-Trent. Their farm-to-bar chocolate comes in flavours including blood orange crunch, bee pollen & honey, and Aleppo chilli & cherry.

Bullion makes its chocolate from cacao bean to finished bar in small batches in Sheffield. They use a few carefully chosen ingredients, with no palm oil or emulsifiers.
Try roasted hazelnut, Black Forest or Golden Nuggets!

Happi makes creamy, plant-based oat milk chocolate with no palm oil.
We’ve got classic oat milk, orange and cacao nibs crunch to choose from.

We’re delighted to welcome another small, family-run business to the shelves at Hartington Farm Shop. 💚

Every Wild Olive product is lovingly made right here in the beautiful Peak District, using high-quality, sustainably sourced ingredients wherever possible.
The entire range is also SLS and paraben-free.

Our lovely new collection includes:

✨ Handmade natural soaps
✨ Bath tea bags individually or hand pick your favorite 5 in a gift box
✨ Scented candles
✨ Room diffusers and refills
✨ Beautiful Peak District gift sets

The bath tea bags combine ingredients such as mineral-rich Dead Sea salts, essential oils, French clay, fruit powders, flowers, perfume and tea – perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day or a walk through the Peaks. 🛁

With fragrances including Lavender Fields, Secret Garden, The Orangery and White Fig, there’s something lovely for everyone.

What a busy weekend we’ve had!

On Saturday we had the pleasure of welcoming the Hartington Oddfellows Cavendish Lodge for an early evening meal with us following their march through the village.

Our brilliant Loz & Bethany did an amazing job in the kitchen, serving up a fully homemade feast 👌🏻

🍲 Roasted red pepper & sweet potato soup
🥩 Roast beef from Meakins of Leek, homemade Yorkshire puddings & all the trimmings
🌿 Mushroom Wellington for our veggie guests
🍎 Followed by homemade apple & summer berry crumble with custard 😋

Everything was made from scratch and they absolutely smashed it ❤️👏🏻

It was also really special to welcome a group with such a long history in our little village. Hartington Oddfellows was founded back in 1841 and continues that wonderful tradition of friendship, community spirit and supporting village life.

From fundraising and volunteering to helping keep local traditions alive, they’re still very much a part of Hartington today 🩷
